Hi Nell, I need your expert opinion. I just turned 44. I started working out nearly 1-yr ago, got on a diet and lost all the weight I needed to lose. I'm still eating right, but still keep dropping the weight. I work out 5-6 days a week alternating weight lifting & cardio. My goal is to be lean, flexible with a little muscle mass. I'm lean, but not much muscle mass. I eat 100 grams of protein a day plus meals. I use the Pea Protein by Now Sports. Should I convert to Egg Whites to gain the extra weight I need?

Hello, Karen,
Its really difficult to tell you what you need to do based on the little info below. Whether or not you need more protein in and of itself is merely one factor of many that would contribute to how, when and if one gains muscle mass.
Let me know if you would like to book a consult.
Pea protein is not paleo; no legumes are part of the paleo diet. Id recommend eating whole, fresh eggs, rather than just whites.
Best,
Nell Stephenson
