Hi, I am interested in if you believe bacon and yogurt are Paleo. After scanning other websites that come up when seaching "paleo foods" so many list these as acceptable. I have been eating a small container of plain 0% fat Greek yogurt, but also see some mention full fat. I am confused!

You bring up a great question, Sandrine.
NO, dairy nor most cured meats are not found in the Paleo diet.
The reason I say most cured meats is that I have come across, albeit rarely, bacon that is not cured and that does not contain the usual high levels of sodium or nitrates nitrites, often added to preserve color.
Dairy products are the most acidic things we can consume, leading to an acidic pH in the body, which forces calcium to be leached from the bones, which leads to osteopenia and then osteoporosis.

Hey Nell recently my husband and I made a bison stew with sweet potatoes, carrots, celery and onions. It was absolutely fabulous and Paleo! Love the pyramid...found one similar a month ago or so.

Paleo stews are so good this time of year- hearty without filling you up like they would if they contained rice or pasta! : )
