Egg White Protein Powder!
Why?
Whey protein powder is sourced from dairy, which is not part of The Paleo Diet. Dairy products are the most acid producing items we can ingest and over time, contribute to osteoporosis. (Read: Milk Does NOT do a body good!).
In addition, egg white protein powder has a better amino acid profile than does whey (refer to The Paleo Diet for Athletes chapter on Eating Post-Exercise for a comparison).
If you're making homemade smoothies, or post workout recovery drinks, opt for PLAIN egg white protein powder- it's a no-brainer!
I love my egg protein powder; I find it to be a great option for smoothies on the go,
as well as a viable option for travel.
You can also try mixing in a 6 minute, soft boiled egg.
Thats enough time to kill potential bacteria without losing too Manu nutrients.
Hope that helps; feel free to e if youve got more questions!

The issue with whey is that dairy is not Paleo.

I'm vegan so I am always looking for vegan protein shakes. So, egg whites is a no go for me, however I do know of really good protein shakes that are vegan friendly if anyone is interested. http://supplementrelief.com/numedica-total-vegan-protein-shakes They are good for you, and vegan approved. Egg whites aren't as good tasting anyway.

That product has pea and rice protein, so this is not a Paleo friendly option. Please refer to new site and blog. Links below.
