This leafy green, while being slightly bitter, imparts a lovely flavor to a salad. Balance it out with some berries ( I used strawberries last night at dinner) and some healthy fat from avocado. Drizzle on some olive and or flaxseed oil and add a twist of lemon, and you've got yourself a healthy, not to mention lovely, start to your breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Try it with peaches, brazil nuts and lime for another flavor twist.

Can you tell me what kind of herbs you have used in this salad? I have tried the salad and it was delicious. But perhaps it will be even better when I can add the used herbs in it.

My favourite fresh herbs for salad include:
Rosemary,mint, basil, oregano, thyme & dill.
